my 'career' at Aeon will come to a close.
It was not my choice to 'retire', nevertheless,
I will be retired from the company.

Good thing I didn't buy a house like I had planned!

what kind of year should lay ahead?
Stay in China til March as planned?
Where should I seek work?
Return to Vancouver?
Go to Japan?
